Skiing has always been my favorite way to spend time with my dad. For as long as I can remember, he’s been my coach on the mountain — pushing me to improve and cheering me on as I learned new skills. His support is a big part of why I developed such a strong love for the outdoors.

That passion inspired me to lead for Overland. I wanted to create positive outdoor experiences for students, like my dad did for me. I led for three summers in New England, Alaska, and Spain. The most rewarding aspect of leading was returning from each summer knowing that my students not only enjoyed the trip, but also forged lasting friendships within the community we built together.

At Overland, I have the opportunity to empower students in the outdoors – that’s what makes it so fulfulling. I’m so excited to plan trips that will leave students with happy memories of the places that they’ve explored.
