We Welcome Your Application to Join Us!

We build each of our groups with care, keeping the groups small (no more than twelve students), and paying close attention to age, grade, gender, and the mix of hometowns and schools. Our goal is to put together great groups — groups where nice kids thrive in a supportive, wholesome, and caring environment. Please note: availability as shown is based on students traveling without a friend; if your child is interested in traveling with a friend, please call our office for availability.

I grew up walking to school every morning.

Beginning each day with a moment outside set the tone for the rest of my education. Growing up in Maine, and attending college in Vermont, I was fortunate to be surrounded by beautiful outdoor landscapes to explore. From day one, Overland fit seamlessly into this routine – a community centered around sharing time outside with friends.

I am constantly inspired by watching how Overland students push themselves to try something new and engage intentionally with their groups. I heard about Overland in the first weeks of college and was immediately drawn to the fun, challenging, and dynamic summer trips. I spent three summers leading for Overland. In 2018 I was on our Field Staff and led Berkshire Adventure and Maine Adventure. I then found a love for bike touring and led Vermont in 2019 and the American Challenge in 2021. I am so excited to translate the thrill of waking up every morning to a new day on an Overland trip to my work planning several of our amazing programs.

For as long as I can remember, I would dream of weekends exploring the mountains. As a trip planner, I now have the joy of putting together these experiences for our students and leaders.
