Asher Rabinowitz

Growing up, I spent summers at a sleepaway camp in the Green Mountains of Vermont. Those shared experiences in the outdoors, away from modern distractions, taught me the importance of in-person connections and friendships. I also had heaps of fun! These values became integral to my academic and athletic career as a rower at Williams College. 

My first time backpacking was part of my college orientation. That trip reinvigorated the same feelings of adventure and joy I had from camp years prior. After that, I looked to spend my summers chasing that feeling. I was introduced to Overland and led Iceland Explorer, Northwest Expedition, and Norway Expedition over the course of three summers. Each of these trips was incredible in their own way but they all shared a common thread of connection and satisfaction.  

Now I have the pleasure of facilitating similar experiences for others, and I am thrilled to be a member of both the Trip Planning and Admissions teams. I look forward to both helping students find the perfect trip and ensuring each itinerary is as great as it can be.
