I’m always amazed by the growth that occurs when well-supported young people are exposed to rather intense social, intellectual, and physical challenges. As the former Director of Admission at Williams College, I’ve enjoyed watching students grow in their surroundings. Individual student growth, fostered by remarkably skilled and caring leaders, is what Overland is all about.

My kids, Ian and “Magnus”, each benefitted from the Overland experience. Both encountered exceptional role models that helped them develop as individuals and community members. Identifying and hiring great leaders is the “secret sauce” that Overland provides.
