We Welcome Your Application to Join Us!

We build each of our groups with care, keeping the groups small (no more than twelve students), and paying close attention to age, grade, gender, and the mix of hometowns and schools. Our goal is to put together great groups — groups where nice kids thrive in a supportive, wholesome, and caring environment. Please note: availability as shown is based on students traveling without a friend; if your child is interested in traveling with a friend, please call our office for availability.

Yellowstone Teton Explorer

Yellowstone and the Tetons offer mountains, lakes, waterfalls, geysers, and wildlife.

Explore Yellowstone and Grand Teton — two of America’s most famous national parks.

For two exciting weeks, hike, backpack, and whitewater kayak this world-famous landscape.

Most visitors to Yellowstone and the Tetons don’t get much more than 100 yards off the main road. And that’s okay — lots of people fall in love with the parks from the viewpoints and pull-offs (it’s easy to understand why: it’s so beautiful!). But we want to see more, do more, experience more.

Seeing, doing, and experiencing more with Overland means hiking, backpacking, and kayaking. We’ll explore Yellowstone and the Tetons through a series of carefully crafted, thoughtfully paced activities.

Every step of the way, from the jagged spires of the Tetons to the vast Yellowstone backcountry, two experienced Overland leaders will look out for the group. Their hope, and goal, is to guide the group toward an experience full of adventure, challenge, friendship, and fun.

At some point in the trip, it will hit us. Yes, we’ll think, Yellowstone is spectacular (the wildlife alone is amazing: moose, bison, elk, eagles), the Tetons are incredible, and kayaking the Snake is exciting. But more than that — much more than that — the experience of being out here with this group and these leaders will make this trip a truly memorable two weeks. Sharing all of this with these great people, who have become like a family, is the heart of the Overland experience. You — and your newfound family — will fall in love with Yellowstone and the Tetons.
