We Welcome Your Application to Join Us!

We build each of our groups with care, keeping the groups small (no more than twelve students), and paying close attention to age, grade, gender, and the mix of hometowns and schools. Our goal is to put together great groups — groups where nice kids thrive in a supportive, wholesome, and caring environment. Please note: availability as shown is based on students traveling without a friend; if your child is interested in traveling with a friend, please call our office for availability.

Norway Expedition

Two weeks of deep fjords and big mountains.

Hike, backpack, and sea kayak in Norway.

Norway’s got it all – incredible landscapes, a fascinating culture, and some of the most stunning kayaking and hiking on the planet.

After we meet in Oslo, we’ll head north towards Beitostølen, a small town right outside one of Norway’s largest national parks. In Beitostølen we’ll camp, hike, and explore some of the most spectacular day hikes Norway has to offer.

From here, we’ll head to Gudvangen to sea kayak through the fjords. Working with professional guides, we’ll learn basic paddling skills before heading out on our three-day trip. We’ll paddle through the Nærøyfjord World Heritage Park, among Norway’s famous fjords, hiking on the second day to look back at just how far we’ve come. We’ll cook together each night with our guides, enjoying Norway’s 24-hour summer light.

We finish with a backpacking trip through Jotunheimen National Park. In one of Norway’s most popular national parks, we’ll enjoy panoramic views from some of Norway’s highest mountains. Our sense of camaraderie will be strong now, and we’ll be at our best as we finish the trek over the stunning Besseggen Ridge.

Back in Oslo, we will reflect on the challenges we’ve overcome and the friends we’ve made. As we pack up our bags, we’ll know that when we head home, this journey will stay with us forever. Having spent time in such a unique place, with people that we’ve come to rely on, our need to explore will continue to grow.
