We Welcome Your Application to Join Us!

We build each of our groups with care, keeping the groups small (no more than twelve students), and paying close attention to age, grade, gender, and the mix of hometowns and schools. Our goal is to put together great groups — groups where nice kids thrive in a supportive, wholesome, and caring environment. Please note: availability as shown is based on students traveling without a friend; if your child is interested in traveling with a friend, please call our office for availability.

Northwest Expedition

Explore the magic and mystery of the Pacific Northwest.

In the Pacific Northwest, everything is big, and bold, and beautiful.

There’s something special about the Northwest — perhaps that’s why it has inspired so much local lore. As you travel among pines and foggy islands, you’ll be sure to hear stories of magic and monsters.

But more importantly, you’ll make your own stories. You’ll backpack through Olympic National Park, playing games while passing by roaring rivers and through stately trees. You’ll kayak around the San Juan Islands, spotting wildlife and swapping stories on foggy beaches. And you’ll learn mountaineering skills on Mt. Baker, relying upon your newfound friendships as you traverse snowy paths.

Along the way, you’ll have one another. A small group, no more than 10 students, and two caring, capable leaders: what more could you want? You’ll spend your days getting to know one another through games and stories, long days on the trail and relaxing nights at camp. Together, you’ll explore the best of the Pacific Northwest.

But at the end of the day, it’s not about the landscape. It’s about the memories you make, and the friendships that form, and the stories you tell when you get back home. For three weeks, your group becomes your family, and the bonds you form will last long beyond the boundaries of a single summer.
