We Welcome Your Application to Join Us!

We build each of our groups with care, keeping the groups small (no more than twelve students), and paying close attention to age, grade, gender, and the mix of hometowns and schools. Our goal is to put together great groups — groups where nice kids thrive in a supportive, wholesome, and caring environment. Please note: availability as shown is based on students traveling without a friend; if your child is interested in traveling with a friend, please call our office for availability.

Iceland Explorer

Explore a remarkable land of volcanoes, hot springs, and waterfalls.

Iceland: the Land of Fire and Ice

Travel the southern coast and hike past thundering waterfalls and beautiful black sand beaches. Day hike near the vibrant city of Reykjavik and raft the Gullfoss Canyon.

The minute you arrive in Iceland, you’ll know you’re somewhere special. As soon as you leave the airport, you’ll begin to appreciate just how amazing, how spectacular Iceland is.

You and your group will start by heading to the southern coast. Here you’ll explore Iceland’s coastline, hike along pristine black sand beaches, and witness some of Iceland’s most iconic landmarks.

Backcountry base-camping is next. In the backcountry, day hikes will take you past colorful rolling hills, steaming geothermal vents, and snowy peaks. The days are long and exciting, the views vast and varied.

You and your group will then head to the Gullfoss Canyon. You’ll enjoy an exciting half day of rafting and marvel at some of Iceland’s most famous natural wonders along the Golden Circle Route.

Through all of these adventures, your group will become close. That’s the point, really. See one of the world’s most arresting landscapes with a group of like-minded adventurers, sharing stories, laughter, and fun every step of the way.

When you head home — wherever home is — you’ll see everything just a little bit differently. It’s partly the magic of Iceland, it’s partly something else, something hard to define. For most people, life is reassuringly routine, comfortingly predictable. But for you, having seen this land of fire and ice, you’ll know there is a big beautiful world out there that is anything but routine and hardly predictable. Having explored Iceland, having seen its spectacular landscape, you’ll be eager to get back out there to see more, do more, explore more, live more.
