We Welcome Your Application to Join Us!

We build each of our groups with care, keeping the groups small (no more than twelve students), and paying close attention to age, grade, gender, and the mix of hometowns and schools. Our goal is to put together great groups — groups where nice kids thrive in a supportive, wholesome, and caring environment. Please note: availability as shown is based on students traveling without a friend; if your child is interested in traveling with a friend, please call our office for availability.

I have always enjoyed physical activity, movement, and being outside.

I have played team sports since I was in elementary school, and I’ve coached teams since graduating from college (and I am still a college coach!). I believe in the importance of physical activity and movement, and the lessons that can be learned about ourselves, others, and the world around us when working together as a team.

What draws me to work at Overland is a love of travel. I have fond memories of travel and camping with my family from growing up (something we did a lot–my dad was a pilot), so I am excited to play a part in helping to create these experiences for our students (and I have a love of Iceland in particular since my husband is Icelandic!).

I like helping people, and am eager to help to create learning opportunities and travel experiences for Overland’s students. I also like processes and operations… so I find it really satisfying to move students through the application process and check boxes and complete things for families. But I imagine it will be rewarding this summer to hear of students who I saw in the early application stages enjoying their trips!
