We Welcome Your Application to Join Us!

We build each of our groups with care, keeping the groups small (no more than twelve students), and paying close attention to age, grade, gender, and the mix of hometowns and schools. Our goal is to put together great groups — groups where nice kids thrive in a supportive, wholesome, and caring environment. Please note: availability as shown is based on students traveling without a friend; if your child is interested in traveling with a friend, please call our office for availability.

As a little kid I was always fixated on drawing the people and places around me.

During summer vacations my days were usually punctuated by quiet hours spent drawing and bursts of energy running around outside. I still do both of those things daily, and believe that the creativity and love of the outdoors that have become routine in my life translate well into working at Overland.

In middle and high school I participated in both hiking and biking Overland trips and fell in love with Overland’s ethos. So, as a college student at Bates, I jumped at the opportunity to lead trips in New England, the Blue Ridge Mountains, and Norway. Each of those summers of leading, I watched as my students overcame challenges, supported each other, and embraced outdoor adventure. Experiencing those transformative milestones alongside them was an absolute joy and taught me so much. As a member of the office staff now, I am excited to play a small part in helping more students grow, learn, and play outside.

Overland’s community is incredibly welcoming. I’m so happy to join the group of dedicated and hard-working people in the office and participate in creating a summer full of new adventures!
