We Welcome Your Application to Join Us!

We build each of our groups with care, keeping the groups small (no more than twelve students), and paying close attention to age, grade, gender, and the mix of hometowns and schools. Our goal is to put together great groups — groups where nice kids thrive in a supportive, wholesome, and caring environment. Please note: availability as shown is based on students traveling without a friend; if your child is interested in traveling with a friend, please call our office for availability.

Summer 2023: Admissions Update #2

Discovery & Inspiration

Summer is just around the corner!

We cannot believe that summer is just around the corner— only 5 months away! We’re eager to work with each family to find a trip that’s a great fit for their child. We’re counting down the days until we hear stories about students summiting Mt. Elbert in Colorado, sea kayaking through Norway’s fjords, and sharing delicious meals with their trip mates after the day’s adventures.

January is our busiest enrollment season; by the end of the month, many of our trips will be  completely or nearly full. Now is the time to apply! If you aren’t sure which trips to choose, you can compare trips here

If you need some trip inspiration, New England Adventure is a great introductory option for our youngest students in 5-6th grade, with biking, rafting, and day hikes. For 7-9th graders, Rocky Mountain Explorer offers a wonderful combination of rafting, hiking, and backpacking. Northwest Expedition is a fun option for 9-11th graders and includes sea kayaking, hiking, and backpacking. All of our itineraries are full of fun, friends, and adventure!

Through our Zoom and in person slideshows, we’ve been reminded of the power of the Overland experience. It’s been heartwarming to hear about students’ adventures, and all of their moments of growth, fun, silliness, and wonder on their trips across the world. If you’re interested in connecting with members of our team and Overland alumni in your area, please reach out! You can RSVP for an event here. These events consist of a 25 minute presentation followed by a Q&A. We’d love to see you there!

As always, our team is happy to answer any questions or hop on the phone to chat! Feel free to give us a call (413-458-9672) or email us anytime. We hope to connect with you soon!
