We Welcome Your Application to Join Us!

We build each of our groups with care, keeping the groups small (no more than twelve students), and paying close attention to age, grade, gender, and the mix of hometowns and schools. Our goal is to put together great groups — groups where nice kids thrive in a supportive, wholesome, and caring environment. Please note: availability as shown is based on students traveling without a friend; if your child is interested in traveling with a friend, please call our office for availability.

Summer 2022: Admissions Update #2

Discovery & Inspiration

2022 is off to an exciting start here at Overland!

January is typically the busiest month for the Overland Admissions Team, and this year is no different. We’re seeing more interest than in past summers, and we currently have more students signed up for the summer than we have, at this point, in every past year. It’s not just the Admissions Team that’s eager to get outside and have fun this summer!
The greater interest we’re seeing this year means that many trips are filling quickly, with some already full. We constantly update availability on our website. You can visit the Overland website and look at the icons next to each trip (green, yellow, and red) that indicate availability. We work with each family, though, to find the best fit for their child. For example, we want to make sure there are students of the same age in a group, and that it’s a great mix of kids from across the country. So, although we do our best to have the website reflect available space, we cannot guarantee a spot on a trip until we receive and review your child’s application. If you have questions, please reach out to us: info@overlandsummers.com.

This week, we started our Zoom Q&A sessions with prospective families, and love meeting excited families throughout the country. Both prospective families and families already signed up for a 2022 trip are welcome to join. The Q&As are a great chance to meet members of Overland’s year-round team, ask questions, and hear a bit more about Overland. Ever wondered about the food on the trip or where you’ll sleep each night? You can RSVP to join us for a Zoom Q&A. Parents and children are welcome to attend. We can’t wait to meet you!
Additionally, our 2022 catalog has started to arrive in homes across the country. Please keep an eye out for your copy, and if you would like to request a copy, just let us know. We’d be happy to send one your way!
Try whitewater kayaking on Yellowstone Teton Explorer!
This month we’re busy here in the Admissions Team working to find spots for interested students. If you’d like to talk through options for this summer or have any questions, please reach out via email or a call to the office (413-458-9672) — we’re always happy to chat!
We can’t wait to share the beauty and promise of the world with you.
See you all in 2022!
