Hometown: Grosse Pointe, Michigan
College: University of Michigan
During my junior year of college, I studied abroad in New Zealand, where I took advantage of all of the incredible hiking opportunities and road trip adventures the beautiful country has to offer.
Originally from Grosse Pointe, Michigan, I graduated in 2019 from the University of Michigan with a degree in international studies and political science. At Michigan, I had the pleasure of writing for the Michigan Journal of International Affairs, and I was a member of the men’s club golf team. Also, I was a part of MUSIC Matters, which is a group that helps raise money for the community through charity events and concerts. During the last two summers, I interned in Toronto and Singapore, which fueled my love for exploring new places and new cultures as well as meeting new people. In my free time, I love to play golf, play basketball, and listen to music.
In 2016, I led the Blue Ridge Explorer, and in 2019, I led Field Studies Costa Rica. As a former Overland student and a current leader, I appreciate that Overland students are incredibly courageous and are willing to work together to tackle any challenge.
