We Welcome Your Application to Join Us!
We build each of our groups with care, keeping the groups small (no more than twelve students), and paying close attention to age, grade, gender, and the mix of hometowns and schools. Our goal is to put together great groups — groups where nice kids thrive in a supportive, wholesome, and caring environment. Please note: availability as shown is based on students traveling without a friend; if your child is interested in traveling with a friend, please call our office for availability.

Hometown: Lancaster, Pennsylvania
College: Bowdoin College
At Bowdoin College, I ran four seasons of varsity cross country and served as a captain of the team senior year.
Originally from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, I graduated from Bowdoin in 2019 with a major in earth and oceanographic science (EOS) and a minor in mathematics. As an EOS major, I traveled to Iceland on a department field seminar in the summer of 2017. I researched marine phytoplankton using fluorescence as a Doherty Coastal Studies Research Fellow at Bowdoin in the summer of 2018. At Bowdoin, I sang soprano in a co-ed a cappella group, Ursus Verses, and led my group as business director senior year. I was involved in the Bowdoin Outing Club (BOC) as a trip leader and part of the leader instructor training team that mentors new BOC leaders. I was elected BOC officer my senior year and worked to coordinate weekly trips and plan on campus events at the BOC. I am a certified Wilderness First Responder and a graduate of the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) Outdoor Educator course. I enjoy competing in Olympic distance triathlons in the summer. In my free time, I love skiing, playing soccer, swing dancing, and polar-plunging.
In 2017, I led Mountains & Sea Adventure, and in 2019, I led Alaska Expedition. I love leading for Overland because Overland students are compassionate, resilient, adventuresome, and ready for a challenge.
