We Welcome Your Application to Join Us!
We build each of our groups with care, keeping the groups small (no more than twelve students), and paying close attention to age, grade, gender, and the mix of hometowns and schools. Our goal is to put together great groups — groups where nice kids thrive in a supportive, wholesome, and caring environment. Please note: availability as shown is based on students traveling without a friend; if your child is interested in traveling with a friend, please call our office for availability.

Hometown: Boulder, Colorado
College: Hendrix College
During the summer of 2018, I was a co-coordinator for the class of 2022 orientation at Hendrix College; having had a great experience at my first-year orientation, I wanted to give a similar experience for other incoming students.
Originally from Boulder, Colorado, I graduated in 2019 from Hendrix College, where I was a chemistry major and a captain of the tennis team. As a chemistry student, I participated in three years of undergraduate research. For this research, I performed atmospheric and environmental studies, examining air contamination and absorptions of various air particulates. Also, I hosted a radio show all four years, which fostered my passion for music and making conversation. While growing up, my family moved a lot. Both of my parents are teachers, and they wanted to give my brother and me a wider perspective of the world and its people. During my junior fall, I studied abroad in Turku, Finland, a predominantly Swedish city in southwestern Finland. During that semester, I traveled to Switzerland, France, Estonia, Sweden, U.K., and Norway. In northern Norway, I saw the Northern Lights and swam in the Barents Sea, a part of the Arctic Ocean. In my free time, I enjoy backpacking, skiing, running, road trips, and finding a good place to swim.
In 2019, I led Yellowstone Adventure and Sierra Explorer. Overland students are smart and wonderful kids. I enjoyed leading for Overland because I got to spend time with wonderful people in beautiful surroundings.
