Hometown: Ridgefield, Connecticut
College: Kenyon College

During my junior year, I studied abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark, where I lived with a Danish family and traveled throughout Europe.

Originally from Ridgefield, Connecticut, I am an Eagle Scout and a 2017 Kenyon College graduate where I majored in economics with an environmental studies concentration. I served as co-president for Kenyon’s social board, working with a large budget to organize and host some of the school’s most popular social events throughout the year, including the coveted Summer Sendoff spring concert. Also, I was a member of Delta Kappa Epsilon and was the Greek Council representative and liaison for the chapter. I attended two additional weekly meetings for student government and senior class committee as senior class representative, overseeing the goings on between the student body and administration as well as planning activities exclusive to the senior class, such as formal receptions and senior week. In my spare time, I held an on-campus job as a sports statistician and did CrossFit at the athletic center. Additionally, I held weekly “Quesadilla Office Hours” at my apartment for my apartment mates and friends. I also enjoy photography. Last year, I worked for a market research company for their finance department and learned a lot, but I found my passion for the outdoors and leading has only grown stronger. This fall, I joined Overland’s year-round staff as a member of the trip planning team.

In 2017, I led Northwest Leadership, and in 2018, I led European Expedition. Overland is an extraordinary community—having the opportunity to show kids the great outdoors and make an impact on their lives is a huge honor.
