We Welcome Your Application to Join Us!

We build each of our groups with care, keeping the groups small (no more than twelve students), and paying close attention to age, grade, gender, and the mix of hometowns and schools. Our goal is to put together great groups — groups where nice kids thrive in a supportive, wholesome, and caring environment. Please note: availability as shown is based on students traveling without a friend; if your child is interested in traveling with a friend, please call our office for availability.

Hometown: Morristown, New Jersey
College: College of the Holy Cross

As an Overland student, I participated in three Overland trips—Blue Ridge Explorer, Nova Scotia & Acadia, and the American Challenge; all three trips provided opportunities for me to grow and challenge myself; however, it is the Overland spirit of community, respect, and self-confidence that brings me back summer after summer — first, as a student, and now, as a leader.

Originally from Morristown, New Jersey, I am a junior at College of the Holy Cross. On campus, I am an active participant in the Student Program for Urban Development through which I tutor a fifth grader at the Nativity School. Also, I participated in a spring break immersion program during which we did service work in Pearisburg, Virginia. The Women in Business conference hosted by students and alumni on campus inspired me to pursue a career in business. Before leading for Overland, I worked as a counselor for a mountain biking camp. Additionally, I volunteered through my church and participated in service trips to Appalachia in Harlan, Kentucky. Last year, I joined the club field hockey team at Holy Cross. In my free time, I love bike touring, hiking, and skiing.

In 2018, I led Berkshire Adventure and Vermont, and in 2019, I led Vermont. Overland trips provide students and leaders with opportunities for personal growth, and they allow us to explore new environments and overcome challenges in a close-knit group. Watching my students grow is the best part of bike touring, and I love being able to help them become confident and proud — on and off the bike.
