Hometown: Morristown, New Jersey
College: Colby College

At Colby College, I was the co-coordinator for the Outdoor Orientation Trips program for all first-year students.

Originally from Morristown, New Jersey, I graduated from Colby College in 2017 with a degree in environmental policy. During my time at Colby, I was a lead hiking trips for the outing club. Also, I led backpacking and canoeing trips for Colby’s Outdoor Orientation Trips in the fall. During the summer of 2016, I had the incredible opportunity to stay on campus in Waterville and plan the COOT program with one other student. We organized gear, planned leader training, placed the first-years on trips and organized the logistics for each trip. During the spring of my junior year, I studied on the south island of New Zealand and loved exploring in its phenomenal natural scenery. In my free time, I loved being on Colby Improv and making omelettes.

In 2014, I was a member of Overland’s Support Staff, and I led Berkshire Adventure and Mountains & Sea Adventure; in 2015, I led Maine Coast Leadership; and in 2017, I led Yellowstone Adventure and Alaska Leadership Course. I was so happy to return to Overland this summer. I can’t get our dessert circles in Yellowstone and Alaska out of my head. Those moments are magic.
