Kim Nault

College: Bowdoin College

During Kim Nault’s senior year at Bowdoin College, she coordinated over 40 outdoor orientation trips for incoming first year students in 2015 and was responsible for recruiting and training over 100 Bowdoin Orientation Leaders.

Originally from Longmeadow, Massachusetts, Kim graduated from Suffield Academy in Suffield, Connecticut, in 2012 where she received the Dartmouth Book Prize, the Yale Book Prize, the Senior French Award, Senior Citizenship and the Senior Athletics Award. At Suffield, Kim was a member of the Discipline Committee and a senior leader of the Writing Center. Kim is a 2016 graduate of Bowdoin College where she majored in environmental studies & government. At Bowdoin, Kim was a graduate of the Bowdoin College Outing Club Leadership Training program, where she earned her Wilderness First Responder.  During the spring of 2015, Kim received a grant to backpack in southern Utah for two weeks. In her free time, Kim loves to trail run and explore new places with friends. Last spring, Kim joined Overland’s year-round staff as a member of the Trip Planning Team.

In 2013, Kim was a member of the Overland Support Staff and led Berkshire Adventure; in 2014, she led Blue Ridge Explorer; and in 2016, she led Yellowstone Teton Leadership. She writes, “I love watching a group of Overland students grow from complete strangers to best friends.”
