Overland's directors are committed to providing the continuity and leadership that enables Overland to set the standard in student travel.

Tom Costley, founder and director of Overland, provides the vision and leadership that makes Overland's success possible. Tom's passion for creating a unique and meaningful experience for every Overland student, his ability to inspire and guide the Overland staff, and his commitment to providing the highest quality programs are the hallmarks of his tenure as director.

Brooks Follansbee, director of admissions, works tirelessly with parents, students and staff to ensure that all students are placed on the appropriate program for their interests, experience and ability. Brooks' long tenure and intimate knowledge of Overland allow her to prepare students and families for their Overland experience.

Jonathan Igoe, director of leader hiring and logistics, oversees all aspects of trip planning. He is responsible for recruiting the outstanding leaders who make up the Overland summer staff, placing them as leaders and pairing them with their co-leader. Jonathan also oversees all logistics to ensure that each program runs smoothly during the summer.
